Made in Stillness

Demamah is a fine art ceramics studio in the North Waikato, established in 2026. Every piece is shaped and painted by hand, made in small numbers for those who intend to keep what they own.

The work draws on Aotearoa New Zealand: its native flora and fauna, its coastlines and ranges, and the small towns that hold so many of our stories.

Our founder knows the pull of home whenua. Living away from her own, she understands what it means to hold something that connects you back to the land you belong to. That longing became the inspiration for Our Whenua, a process she developed to incorporate clay from your own ground into a finished work of art, offered only through Demamah.
